This is a test run, Decided to record this video using high def CCD and long lens.
http://youtu.be/QGm-0UJcg4o
All went pretty smoothly except that I mixed up the 15V and 5V regulators and fried the 5V IC. Apart from that, I am dismantling the coil for additional layers of varnish due to observations from this video.
So what was hard?? Did not spot that the midi files had to be on channel 1. I have tons of midi files that simply do not use this channel. Burned a few hrs chasing this down why the midi adopter was blinking but no output from the interrupter?
Need to tune, re-varnish and will post more polyphonic rock !

Nice output! Nice video too very clean, I also like the music overlay. I tried that but im not too good at syncing audio. Try moving your primary down a littlw bit. May cure your flashover issue. More layers or laquer cant hurt either.

Thanks speedy78,
Adobe CS6 makes building the video easy. I am also a Finale user, so downloading and editing free midi files is easy.
Will try long exposure photography and circle back with the results..
