Dez's MIDI corner

Postby Dez » Sun Aug 18, 2013 11:09 pm

So I've been hunting down compatible midi files, editing files and converting files to increase my playable library.

I've been working on some original tracks as well, though I'm not quite ready to share those.

Here are a few that I've collected and tested on my coil.

That's awesome. Been hoping to try out Mario and Still Alive on my coil. Can't wait till I can run them at higher power.

Another nod to PC gaming, this harkens back to when my Dad and I would LAN at his office.

Thanks again Dez. Ran mine at full power for this... even though my coil may not be tuned t the best potential.

I rarely get these, but at 1:17 I had a quick one of these:

My varnish on the coil is pretty thickly layered on and everything looks to be clean.

I used MidiEditor to combine notes from different channels to channel 0 and to remove chords and other spots where there were more than 2 notes playing at once. It takes some time, but it's not too bad compared to trying to compose from scratch.
