Volume somehow varying from frequency

The volume of my tesla coil seems to vary. Lower frequencies seem to be much louder than higher ones, rendering it a bit wiggly to listen to.

Is this normal? Can this be fixed?

It's normal. The note volume was programmed for constant power draw by the coil. It can be changed by re-programming the ATMega.
