oneTesla TS Big Sparks and Blown Fuses at Low Power
Hello forum! I got the kit altogether and for the most part everything seems good but it seems to have an issue I am wondering if anyone here can help with. The output of the coil seems very high even on the lowest interrupter setting. If I try to play any song the fuse blows after just a few seconds on the lowest setting. I can run it in fixed mode at the lowest setting and the sparks are about a foot long. If I turn up the frequency around 400Hz or so the fuse will blow, even at the lowest pulse width setting. Any ideas of what I should potentially look at?

Well, after some more searching I came across the threads about the receiver needing shielding. I had been testing without the side pieces installed so I put those on and it seems to operate correctly. It starts at low power and volume control works

Thank you man, I was wondering this issue on my tesla coil reviewing the entire circuit and it was just the absense of shielding
