After 13 more coats of varnish, I wanted to give it a test run. Tested in both fixed and MIDI modes with Flight of the Bumblebee. Performed beautifully with only a little bit of flash-over at lower frequencies. Luckily there was no damage done to the secondary coil. I'll be doing another 26 coats of varnish over the next 2 days. (Thin coats.)

Honestly the other 26 coats of varnish will have marginal extra utility, but it doesn't hurt to add 'em I guess.
