My alter ego in Lego (alter Lego?) built himself a oneTesla clone as best he could, with a shiny toroid on top and a clear acrylic base. The spark is plastic, and he didn't even plug the coil in, but don't tell him. Mad scientists are kind of sensitive to criticism.
(Yes, these are all official Lego bricks.)

It's a golden plate from a 10 year old Belville set. Looks sort of like a toroid from this angle, though.
