Hi
I'm not quite sure this is the right place for this.
II have been trying to use my coil as a speaker for my theremin. It works but the notes are really all over the place, I think it is a problem of how the midi encoder ( sonus) I am using. There is a similar problem with an electric guitar.
The theremin will work but it all comes out like jazz, and a tune is a real challenge.
Any body else tried this or have any tips?

Re: Theremin
Analog to midi converters will never work well.
you'd be better off using a zero crossing detector and a 555 to limit pulse width.
