my first solid-state coil!

this is my 3rd. coil first 2 were spark gaps, i really like these! but hobbies cost money, does anyone know what the top load should be on a 10” coil?

It all depends but it can be calculated.
You should provide the diameter of the coil and the wire gauge was used. How is it positioned and most of all - what is the resonant frequency of the primary circuit (or the value of the capacitor and amount of turns on the primary circuit).
