Greetings
Hi Coilers, long time builder and experimenter. Electrical engineer and Ham radio hobbies. Just pre-ordered the OneTeslaTS and was looking to see if this project is on track for shipment any time soon. I will check back soon.

Hi Holger,
Pleasure to make your acquaintance. Its always good to see what other Hams are up to. Do you already have a TC working or are you in the process of building one? I'm in the research phase, learning about them and waiting on my first kit, the oneTesla TS. One of my Ham buddies has one of the original oneTesla's and he brought it over for a demo, very impressive, my son is interested in building one with me, should be fun.
Ich wünsche ihnen einen wunderbaren Tag

Re: Greetings
Hi Alex,
Excellent! I see from you past posts that you are a very experienced coiler. From looking at the help you've given to folks building TC's I hope to avoid some of the common pitfalls. Though most of the problems seem to be experience related, i.e. proper orientation of IC's, diodes, IGBTs, proper soldering, reading color codes etc. I also have an O-Scope, function generator, sig gen and multiple soldering stations so I'm likely better set up to build the TC than a lot of customers.
Anyway, hopefully I (or my son) won't fall into any of those problems. Are you an electrical engineer or from a technical career? Your level of knowledge seems to imply more than just hobbyist.

Brian

Brian,
If you have any questions I'll be here to help!
I'm a freshman in college, going to be an EE. We haven't started anything near EE related stuff, so most of my knowledge is just from being a hobbyist. Actually started back in November of 2012 when I made one of the first oneTeslas

Hi Alex,
It seems that you have a good jump on EE material, even before getting exposed to it. I guess that you have the knack.
I may well take you up on your offer of help. One of your other posts seemed to indicate that you've already gained some experience with the oneTesla TS, any observations on how it compares to the original that you can share?
I'm looking forward to reading over the new oneTesla TS manual when it comes out next week.
Regarding Ham radio, do you get on the air? If you checked out my QRZ page you can see that I'm fairly active in a lot of facets of the hobby.

Re: Greetings
Brian,
I don't know much about the oneTesla TS, which post are you referring to?
I only have technician, but I'm going to try to get my general in April. We have a club station here, K3CR, and I could give you a call tonight on 20 meters. We're going to install a VHF amplifier on our repeater there at around 8 or 9 tonight.
